"My kids will never have screen time." Be honest- before we became parents, we told ourself a lot of things. The reality is that life with kids isn't always easy or perfect. It's not as simple as we once imagined. Still- we'd never trade it for anything. The key is finding what works for our own families. As long as everyone is healthy, happy and (relatively) well-adjusted, then who cares about those hard-and-fast rules we once imagined would be part of our lives?
Screen time is part of

There's a brand new kids' movie heading our way, and this one looks beautiful! Ballerina is a France-Quebec coproduction is the story of an orphan girl who dreams of dancing ballet in Paris (yes, it is in English!). I LOVE that it was created here,in Quebec! I cannot wait to take my daughter, my own little Ballerina, to see it next weekend, at the special Montreal Premiere!
Synopsis: Félicie (Elle Fanning) is a poor orphan girl who has only one passion: dance. With

There are a lot of movies that we are REALLY looking forward to seeing this season, but one that really stands out is Lion. Adapted from the non-fictional book, A Long Way Home, by Saroo Brierley, Lion is about a five-year-old Indian boy, who gets lost in the streets of Calcutta. After a wrong train takes him thousands of miles away from his home and family, he survives many challenges before being adopted by an Australian couple. Twenty-five years later, armed with only the scantest of clues,

Shopkins, Shopkins, Shopkins... If you have a kid between the ages of 4 and 10, I'd say you know exactly what I'm talking about. It seems this collectible toy craze is EVERYWHERE! While, as a mother, I don't completely understand it, I can definitely relate as a former Pogs (remember Pogs?!) addict and Sticker Collector/trader. Collecting and swapping has always been a thing (think baseball cards and Beanie Babies), and it seems Shopkins is the new hot trend, at least for now.

Family couch cuddles, car-ride sing-alongs and everything in between. Our best memories as a family of four are being made when we're just together, enjoying and living in the moment. It beats planned excursions, exciting days out and parties. My favourite moments with my husband and little ones are the ones that are most unexpected (and tend to leave us giggling or belly laughing). Music is such an important part of the memories we're making and of the memories I have of my family from when I was

I'm pretty sure I've watched the trailer for Bad Moms about 100 times since it was released a few months ago. Not only are 2 of my girl crushes in it (hello Kristen and Christina, I'm looking at you!), but it also looks completely relatable and ridiculously hilarious! I have been counting down the days until I get to see this movie, and now the premiere is less than a week away!
A woman with a seemingly perfect life – a great marriage, overachieving kids, beautiful home, stunning looks

It's been a while since I've done a book review on the blog, but that's mostly because I haven't read anything that I felt strongly enough about to share (good or bad) in a long time. That doesn't mean that I'm not still the same bookworm I always have been! Some things just don't change.
Me Before You from Jojo Moyes is one of those books I've had on my list since it came out. For some reason, I've read several of her other books but not this one as yet. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law LOVED

Hello out there!
I know I've told you all before just how much we love Baby/Kids Gourmet in our house, but I'm back to tell you about some awesome new products they have. (Plus, we've added a member to our family since the last time I talked about them!)
Now, I have not just one, but TWO picky eaters who don't necessarily eat all of the vegetables that I'd like for them to (or that they should). This is where Squoosh and Slammers Snacks come in to play!
Squoosh Snacks are the only organic
