Family couch cuddles, car-ride sing-alongs and everything in between. Our best memories as a family of four are being made when we’re just together, enjoying and living in the moment. It beats planned excursions, exciting days out and parties. My favourite moments with my husband and little ones are the ones that are most unexpected (and tend to leave us giggling or belly laughing). Music is such an important part of the memories we’re making and of the memories I have of my family from when I was a child. There’s nothing quite like music to conjure a happy memory and a wistful smile.

And… there’s no music quite as timeless as that of The Beatles. It speaks to my grandparents, my parents, to me, and now, thanks to Netflix’s new original series, Beat Bugs, it speaks to my children, too. 4 Generations of family, all loving the same music! Imagine?! (See what I did there?)

Families can come together (teehee- again!) over Beat Bugs, inspired by the music made famous by The Beatles. Starring five charming and energetic bugs (Jay, Kumi, Crick, Buzz and Walter… Buzz is our favourite), Beat Bugs brings together kid-friendly story lines and the best music ever made to create something new and introduce the world of The Beatles to our little ones.  Including all-star cover artists like P!nk, Jennifer Hudson, Eddie Vedder and Sia, each episode features some of the most well-known Beatles songs woven into uplifting stories filled with melody, hope and the wonders of friendship.

Beat Bugs is a title that both of my kids enjoy watching together, and that I love to take in along with them. We sing along, laugh, and I get to enjoy cuddles as the are taken in by the fun plot lines and colourful world of the bugs.

We want to see how Beat Bugs brings your family together with the music of The Beatles. Make your own cover of All You Need is Love, and you could win 3 months of Netflix for free! Enter below.

My favourite Beatles song is Yesterday because it reminds me of my dad. It was my dad’s favourite song and he use to play it for me before bed every night when I was little.

Can’t Buy Me Love is my favorite. My parents used to have a vintage suitcase record case full of 45′s and would play it a lot when I was young. I just grew up loving it.

Can’t buy me love, because it’s true and it’s catchy and there was a good 80′s movie of the same title.
