In our family we love the idea of adventure and exploring (just check out the name of the blog!). However, because of my munchkin's age and size, and due to the fact that I am pretty heftily pregnant at the moment, we are a little bit limited in our capability for exploration these days. BUT that can't stop the adventurous Kujos! NO! We like to find adventure in the every day. What does that mean? Well, it usually tends to have some reference to Dora the Explorer in completing our routine or not-so-routine Read more [...]

My Road Trip Emergency Kit

My Road Trip Emergency Kit

As you may know by now, we recently took our second annual road trip to Cape Cod. The drive is anywhere between 6 and 8 hours for us (or more, depending on preggo and toddler bladders), with long stretches of nothing but road and green mountains along the way. With my pregnancy brain in overdrive and anxiety levels rising, I realized I needed to be prepared for "anything" while on the road. Aside from entertaining a 2.5 year-old for such a long span of time, feeding the 3 (and a half) of us, and Read more [...]

Anyone who knows me knows I am obsessed in love with elephants. It's true. They're just so large and so grand and awe-inspiring yet so elegant and graceful and playful. There is just something so beautiful about them that has captivated me since I was young. [Seriously, come see my house, and you'll see what I mean.] I've tried to instil some of that love for those majestic creatures in my daughter, but so far she's only mildly interested. I'm hoping that changes this week when we take her Read more [...]

Hello Everyone! Last week we had our annual family road trip vacation to Cape Cod. Of course, within days of leaving, our zucchini plants were bursting at the seams and ready for harvest. We gave many away to friends and family, but still had too many to eat before we hit the road. Luckily with a little ingenuity (and some Pinspiration), I came up with a solution to kill the proverbial 2 birds with 1 stone... I created a perfect road trip snack out of our bounty of zucchini! These little Read more [...]
