Mattel Game On!

Last Sunday night I had the pleasure of hosting a Mattel Game On! party. When I first thought about my guest list and theme, it dawned on me that since we moved in to our new house, we've been so busy renovating, cleaning, unpacking and just generally living our daily lives that I hadn't yet had my girlfriends over for a visit! [Such a terrible friend!] I decided to take advantage of the opportunity and make it a proper ladies' night. A group of awesome ladies (including my mama who was visiting Read more [...]

Welcome to My New Site!

As I announced last week, I have decided to take my growing blog to its very own URL (and new platform). Well, a case of what was likely the flu and an accompanying blocked ear and subsequent vertigo and dizziness knocked me flat on my back for a few days. What Read more [...]

My munchkin is turning 2 in just over a month (WHAT?!), and I realized this weekend that she is quite possibly the most inspirational human being I know. She's a BIG talker-- a real chatterbox-- (hard to believe with such quiet, reserved parents), and she tends to say a lot of laugh-out-loud and/or cute things. She also tends to shock us on a daily basis with what comes out of her mouth. I am actually sitting here, shaking my head and smiling just thinking about it. It's more than pride-- it's Read more [...]
